Overview
AmeriCorps NCCC is a full time, residential, national service program for 18-24 year-olds. For 10 months, members work in teams of 8-12 on service projects. Members are assigned to one of five NCCC campuses, located in Denver, CO; Baltimore, MD; Sacramento, CA; Vicksburg, MS; and Vinton, IA.

AmeriCorps NCCC oversees two service tracks: NCCC & FEMA Corps. NCCC teams serve on projects in the areas of natural & other disasters, environment, energy conservation, infrastructure improvement and urban & rural development. Teams serve on projects throughout the country with non-profit programs, state and local agencies, and other community and faith-based groups.
